These terms and conditions apply to your access of the Petra Savings Booster Online Sign Up Website (“the Website”). The services on this Website are solely provided by Petra (“Petra”) which has its registered office at 113, Airport West- Dzorwulu, Accra, and is licensed by the National Pensions Regulatory Authority. References to 'you' and 'your' are references to the person accessing this Website. References to 'Petra', 'we', 'us' and 'our' are references to Petra.


  1. Age

    1. You accept responsibility for the completeness and accuracy of any communication sent to you using the Site and you acknowledge and accept that we will not be liable for any loss, damage or expense that you may suffer as a consequence of any incomplete or incorrect communication.
    2. We have taken all reasonable steps to ensure that the security applicable to the Site affords a high degree of protection. Accordingly, we will treat all communications received from you as your official communications even if you can later prove that they were not signed or sent by you or with your authority, provided that we were not guilty of negligence, fraud or willful default in treating them as valid communications.

You acknowledge and accept that neither we nor anyone that we are responsible for shall have any liability for any loss, damage or expense that you may suffer as a result of our delay in carrying out, or failure to carry out, any instruction contained in any communication sent by you where such delay or failure is a result of force majeure or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
    3. Whilst we take all reasonable care to ensure all electronic communications, emails and any attachments we may send to you are free from any known virus, glitch or bug we do not give any such warranty and, unless proved to be due to negligence on our part, shall not be liable to you for any loss, damage or expense you may incur as a result of such virus, glitch or bug.

    At our sole discretion, we may immediately suspend or terminate your access to and use of all or any part of this Website from time to time. We will inform you of any suspension or termination as soon as reasonably possible.

    1. In the course of using the Website, you may submit information to Petra including your personal data. We know that by giving us your information, you are trusting us to treat it appropriately. You in turn agree that Petra may use and share your information in accordance with the Data Protection Act, 2012, Act 843.
    2. Petra will store and process your information in a manner consistent with industry security standards. Petra has implemented appropriate technical, organizational, and administrative systems, policies, and procedures designed to help ensure the security, integrity, and confidentiality of your information and to mitigate the risk of unauthorized access to or use of your information.

  7. Your consent

    By using the Savings Booster Online Sign Up you are consenting to be bound by the terms of Petra Opportunity Pension Scheme Trust Deed and Scheme Rules which may be amended from time to time.

    You duly mandate your employer to deduct and make pre-tax and post-tax contributions on your behalf into the Savings Booster Payments Account upon receipt of a copy of your form from Petra as required by the National Pension Act, 2008 ACT 766 Section 115.

    Petra reserves the right at its discretion to obtain verification of any information provided on this Website from your employer or any other appropriate source.

    By signing and submitting the Direct Debit form as part of your application, you authorize Petra to arrange for funds to be debited from the nominated account on the dates and for the amounts specified by you.

  8. Accurate Information

    You declare that the information you have given on this application form is complete and accurate at the date of signing up and would notify Petra immediately if any of the information changes.

  9. Declaration

    I wish to apply for a Petra Opportunity Pension Scheme Savings Booster Account (“the Account”), having read the Terms and Conditions governing the saving’s booster service.

    I understand that the information given herein will be the basis for creating the account.

    I understand that submitting the completed form online is the first step for creating a Petra Opportunity Pension Scheme Savings Booster Account but does not guarantee that an account will be created.
